Verse 1 - "I'm at liberty" and "I'll set a precedent" could have something to do with the fact that Jefferson Street and Washington Street meet at Liberty Express way? "eagle eye view" - I think he wants us to use the street view to see what's around.
"Now we're at the right state, but what about the time keep that in mind, as you look behind" - now there is a Hilton right across the street from the Ray Charles Memorial in Albany, GA and now if your standing at outside facing the Hilton in Albany, NY on the corner of Lodge St & Corning Pl, there will be a clock tower behind you showing 2PM.
"Maybe hop inside this place, to see what we find" - I tried clicking on all the photo spheres for this Hilton, but they appear to be dead links. Quite likely, though, I probably have the wrong place, but I do think this is how he wants us to solve. Anyone else have some ideas of where to start in Albany, NY, or wherever you might think this verse is talking about?
At any rate you're suppose to head south from here "past the home of the king, may he rest in peace Got a 2 Hour drive". There could be so many meanings to this, particularly if we're not in Albany, NY, but there is a Kingston, NY less than 2 hours south of Albany, NY. Now, approximately 2 hours (1:47) south of Albany, NY is West Point, on to the next verse.
Verse 2 - "this trip has taking it's toll" - there are tolls on the trip from Albany, NY to West Point, NY. "I know a guy in town, he's a trader of secrets" Benedict Arnold was a traitor who gave away secrets and he had command of West Point at one time. From here I get a little lost. "bingo, now you're gonna have the time of your life" - maybe this refers to a casino, bingo hall, church. "September 2013, let's go back in time. There's a guy outside, he'll point you in the right direction" - I you're in the right spot and in street view, I suspect you will need to change the vintage to 9/2013 in order to see someone or something pointing. "Don't know if we should take a boat or a car" - Maybe at a dock with a ferry and/or a bridge? "Headed north, to our next hurdle....We've hit a wall, not I'm confused" - If we head north out of West Point we soon run into Cornwall, NY. This is a house of cards at this point, so let me know what y'all are thinking.
On to song 4.
